Richard has over 19 years’ experience through various roles with Australia’s most reputable organizations, working across sectors across financial markets, debt and capital markets, consulting and carbon markets. Organizations have included the Australian Securities and Investment Commission (ASIC), Australian Prudential Regulatory Authority (APRA), First Prudential Markets (FP Markets), and Andersen Consulting (Accenture), as well as international regulatory agencies in Europe, Southern Africa and Asia.

Richard brings exceptional thought leadership and has provided unique leadership and structuring trade finance by integrating commodities trading, carbon credits and green capital (debt and equity capital) for large scale sovereign infrastructure projects within emerging markets in Southeast Asia and Southern Africa. In 2012, Richard provided leadership in market microstructure reviewing Australia’s market competition framework that set the basis of Chi-X entry into the market for ASX listed cash equities.
